From the series Everywhere / Nowhere. We are surrounded by a generic landscape that varies little from one place to the next. Regional architecture has been surpassed by a landscape of shopping malls, parking lots, and construction sites. I photograph these areas that remain undefined, making sense of them by applying my own aesthetics. In doing so, I transform placeless environments into fractions of landscape that hold some sort of beauty.
